Who We Are

who we are

This church began late 2016 with a small team of people who live in these suburbs and love living here. Since then we have met many new friends in our area interested to be involved. We invite you to join too, no matter who you are or where you're from. When you know Jesus, you want to get to know him better and you want others to know him too! This is what we're about - join us whether you're a follower of Jesus or not yet.

what to expect

Our church is for Newington, Wentworth Point and Olympic Park and everyone who lives here. This means we are here for people of different backgrounds, languages and ages. Even though English will be our common language, we want to help those who are still learning!

Kids are important in our community and in the church - we will have teaching for the kids and also some activities for toddlers. The formal part of our meeting will begin at 4:30pm and will go for about an hour. There will be supper ready to enjoy together after the meeting. Our church meeting will focus on God's word to us in the Bible. We will sing and pray and talk together about what God's word means for our lives.

10AM SUNDAY
We meet for an hour each Sunday morning for about an hour and then enjoy morning tea together afterwards. The main thing we do is hear from our God. This happens as his Word, the Bible, is read and preached. There is a full children’s and youth program, and all of our leaders have been trained in working safely with children.
